My Aldi Grocery List and Meal Plan for the Week

Fun fact for you! Aldi actually prefer for you to NOT bag your items at the till to save on the staffs time and costs which is why they have benches along the wall by the tills. I always just throw mine into the trolley and sort it into bags in the carpark – so much less stressful than having to rush at the checkout!

Breakfasts:

  • Greek Yoghurt with Fruit, Honey, Flax Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds + Chia Seeds (Healthy Fats and Omegas)
  • Porridge (add Ground Almonds)
  • Smoothie incl Spinach for Kids

Lunches:

  • Halloumi + Avocado Wraps (Include Spinach + Tomatoes)
  • Bacon + Eggs on Sourdough Bread
  • Omelettes
  • Garlic + Kale Rice

Dinners:

  • Jacket Potatoes with Coleslaw, Salad + Cheese. (Cheese for Protein! This is a cheap meal) (add lentils + chickpeas)
  • Creamy “Healthy Greens” Pasta (FULL of Super Greens)
  • Prawn Tacos (add lentils + chickpeas)
  • Mackerel Salads (add lentils + chickpeas)
  • Roast Beef Dinner (incl sprouts!)
  • Chicken & Mushroom Wine Sauce with Mash + Veg
  • Sausages + Mash with Veg

Snacks:

  • Olives
  • Cup of Berries
  • Apples + Nut Butter
  • Bell Peppers

My Aldi Shopping List:

Fruits:

  • Avocados x4
  • Bananas (2 packs)
  • Lemons
  • Kiwis (2 packs)
  • Oranges
  • Mango
  • Apples
  • Grapes
  • Blueberries

(Usually, we would get in pears + strawberries but we already have some)

Veg + Salad:

  • Spinach (LOVE Spinach from Aldi as you get a huge bag for just over £1)
  • Kale
  • Baby Plum Tomatoes x2
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Mushrooms
  • Jacket Potatoes x4
  • Brocolli x2
  • Brussell Sprouts (I bought a big bag of frozen sprouts, sprouts aren’t just for Christmas people!)
  • Carrots
  • Pickled Beetroots (Love adding these to salads, so good for you!)
  • Lettuce
  • Bell Peppers (I buy 2 packs of 3. I always get red and yellow peppers as they’re the highest in Vitamin C)
  • Cucumbers x3
  • Corn on the Cob (2 packs of 2 for the kiddos)
  • Sweetcorn
  • Ready-Made Mash x2
  • Red Onions
  • White Onions

Meats:

  • Prawns
  • Chicken Breasts
  • Roast Beef (this was one of the priciest items I bought at £6.50)
  • Bacon
  • Mackerel x2
  • Sausages
  • Seafood Sticks

Eggs + Dairy

  • Eggs
  • Greek Yoghurt x3
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Halloumi x2

Fresh:

  • Houmous
  • Coleslaw
  • Dried Bacon
  • Pate
  • Olives

Breads:

  • Wholegrain Tortillas
  • Sourdough Bread
  • White Bread

Snacks:

  • Veggie Straws
  • Rich Tea Biscuits
  • Bourbons
  • Custard Creams
  • Cashew Nuts
  • Almonds
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Sultanas
  • Chocolate Chip Brioche
  • Waffles

Frozen:

  • Fishermans Pies x4
  • Sausage Patties
