Perhaps you rarely get visitors due to your location so you want to pamper your guests the next time to they swing by your home. Maybe you have special guests coming over soon and you want to ensure their stay is a successful one. Whatever the situation, it’s relatively easy to pamper your guests assuming you think like one. If you need some ideas, then here are four ways to pamper your house guests.
Prepare Some Gifts
One of the best ways to pamper your guests as soon as they arrive is to shower them with gifts. This could be something as simple as a box of chocolates or complicated as some personalised items that you ordered specifically for this occasion. There’s a lot to consider when picking a gift. For instance, the gift needs to fit their needs or uses, and the gift also has to suit what their interests are. The gift can also be to remind them of their visit, or it could be something sentimental. Picking a gift isn’t the easiest thing to do in the world but it can lift the spirits of your guest and make their stay that much more special.
If you want to show your guests that you’re prepared, then nothing says “make yourself at home” like a bedside tray. Fill it with anything that you would personally use in a hotel. Tea bags, a small kettle, charging adapters for their devices, books, magazines or even some snacks. However, if it’s a house guest that is close to you such as a relative, then try not to be too formal with this. After all, if they’re family, then you probably want them to come to the kitchen and speak with you while they’re having a cup of tea, not drinking it alone in their room reading a book!
And of course, we can’t forget a collection of basic necessities. Extra tubes of toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and so on are perfect to keep around in storage for when your guests visit. It doesn’t cost much and it’s going to give you plenty of extras to give to your guests in the event they forgot something at home. Extra charging cables for their devices and personal hygiene products are typical things that your guests might forget, so remember to keep them well-stocked for when you’re expecting guests to come over.
Make sure you clear up the storage in the guest room before they arrive. Give them space to place their belongings and store their suitcase. If they’re staying for a long time, then make sure you give them plenty of space to store clothes and toiletries. All you really need to do is declutter the guest room, empty the shelves, cupboards and wardrobes and then make them smell fresh and nice.
Hopefully, these four tips have given you some inspiration on how you can pamper your guests the next time they come over and for a visit.
