7 Reasons To Try the New HiPP Organic Baby Food Jars | HiPP Organic Review

I am a big advocate for jars and baby pouches, they definitely have their place when it comes to travelling and being on the go but I also think they are really great for trying initial flavours and getting a good idea of what your baby likes. However, when it comes to shop bought food I want to make sure Rory is having food that is as good as home cooking. So when HiPP Organic wrote to me asking if we’d like to try their baby jars I said yes!

  1. They have really lovely. hearty “home cooked” flavours which are really filling and wholesome which will be perfect for Autumn and Winter.
  2. They have slightly different ingredients to other brands which I like such as Turkey and Ham which I really like. Rory normally has beef, chicken and sometimes lamb so I liked that these jars offered some variety.
  3. The jars have a super wide opening to make feeding way easier!
  4. There is no hidden fruit or padding ingredients! So there have been some baby food brands that offer the illusion that they are predominantly vegetable based but when you actually look at the percentage of the ingredients they are actually more fruit based which isn’t ideal if parents are trying to offer a more savoury diet, which is why HiPP jars are a great choice.
  5. HiPP Organic jars are made with really great, organic ingredients that are gently steam cooked to maintain all of the goodness and flavour.
  6. Each jar in the stage 2 & 3 range is great because they have great textures. Rory loves a lot of texture with his food as he really likes to practise chewing so these are perfect!
  7. The jars are 100% recyclable which is always great news for the environment!
So far Rory has loved them, he is generally a good eater and will eat anything but he definitely takes preferences to stronger flavours. His favourite is the Green Vegetables with Couscous & Turkey – he absolutely loved it which really impressed me. It’s definitely a nice filling jar as he wasn’t as interested in his yoghurts afterwards which he tends to save himself for which really impressed me as I much prefer for kids to fully enjoy there main meal. He also absolutely loves the pasta bake with fish which is actually something I would really like so he’s a boy after his mamas heart there.

I have been so impressed with the range that I’ve already been out to re-buy the flavours and you can see more on that over on my What My Baby Eats Instagram

The new flavours are Mashed Potato with Beef, Green Vegetables with Couscous & Turkey, Potatoes & Tomatoes with Chicken, Wholemeal Spaghetti with Vegetables, Pasta Bake with Fish, Cheesy Spinach Tagliatelle and Risotto with Turkey and Vegetables! My readers get an exclusive voucher to enjoy them which you can download here

*We were very kindly sent these food jars free of charge in exchange for an honest review. We have since been out and re-bought them with out own money as we liked them so much!

  • I get excited when I see a new flvaour combo from a brand and see that apples is listed at the bottom on the front but then I turn the packaging over to see it's 65% apples, argh!
I've only tried two hipp organic jars so far(one of the veg medley and another banana one) but Tyler really liked them! The jars make for great storage/food storage after too haha!

  • These sound great! I used these with my four a set I much preferred them to other brands. I like that they offer something a little different.

  • These flavours sound great!

I'm not sure if the cater to milk intolerance's as we struggled for a while to find brands that did! I don't think we've tried anything yet from Hipp Organic and I'm trying to steer away from jars now however they are so handy when you're out and about etc!

  • Seen so much about Hipp so it'll be one we look at when the time comes xx

  • These look great, and love the variety of flavours!

  • I love the HIPP jars, although Harrison refuses to eat from a spoon now so they are a bit lost on us! The flavours look great though!

  • Harry will not entertain being spoon fed now but we do occasionally give them for him to try and feed himself with (usually resulting in it all being in his hair!) but hes always loved the Hipp ones, definitely more flavour than other brands xx
